Celtic left-back Boli Bolingoli is in talks with FC Ufa over a possible loan move, according to journalist Pete O’Rourke.
The Lowdown: Bolingoli under Postecoglou
Bolingoli, who the club slammed for a ‘stupid’ health protocol breach in 2020, has hardly featured under Ange Postecoglou this season.

The 26-year-old is into the last 18 months of his Parkhead contract and has made just two appearances in all competitions this season.
His last appearance came back in October, and even with the British transfer window closed, it seems as if he could find a new home for the second half of the season over the coming days.
The Latest: O’Rourke’s post
O’Rourke took to Twitter on Thursday lunchtime to provide an update on Bolingoli.
He revealed that the left-back ‘is in talks’ with Russian side FC Ufa, who have until Tuesday to get a deal over the line before their country’s transfer market shuts.
The Verdict: Fingers crossed
Bolingoli is on £15,000 per week and appears to be surplus to requirements in Glasgow, so you’d expect that Celtic would be more than happy for the full-back to finalise a move to Russia over the next four days.
Hopefully he will seal a temporary exit and impress abroad, which could lead to a permanent move in the summer.
Celtic spent £3m on the left-back in 2019, and his Transfermarkt valuation has dropped to £1.35m in Scotland. You’d expect that the Hoops could accept an offer in that region in order to get the defender off the books for good, but it seems as if a loan move is likely first.
