Jordan Tunnicliffe suffers injury setbackParkinson confirms unavailability Tom O'Connor also unavailable for Morecambe clashWHAT HAPPENED?

The centre-back has been having back issues, but even though he made a comeback in the team's 2-0 victory against Gillingham 11 days ago, he has since experienced a setback and was not included in the lineup against Accrington. With a number of injuries plaguing the squad, Parkinson would have been hopeful to see Tunnicliffe return to the starting lineup, however, his comeback was shortlived. Parkinson also confirmed that Tom O’Connor was another addition to the injury list as he suffered a blow on the weekend.

"Jordan is struggling, unfortunately," said Parkinson [via The Leader]. "We feel his problem with his hamstring is coming from his back so Jordan is going to be out for a period of time. Exactly what that is I am not sure yet. It really is tough for Jordan but unfortunately, we can't do anything about it. We have just got to try and get him back fit and once he is back fit this time, hopefully we can keep him out on the training pitch."

The Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney-owned club are currently flying high after their promotion to League Two last season, however, Parkinson believes the injuries and international call-ups are starting to catch up with the Red Dragons as they lost to Accrington Stanley last weekend. They still sit fourth in the league but a loss to Morecambe could see them drop as low as seventh.
