Bayern Munich confirmed the signing of Bryan Zaragoza from Granada on loan until the end of the season before he completes a permanent summer move.

Bayern agreed a deal with Granada in December that would see the 22-year-old join the German giants in the summer. However, the Bundesliga champions have opted to bring him to the Allianz Arena immediately on an initial loan deal before he joins on a permanent basis.

The winger and attacking midfielder told the club's website: "I’m moving to FC Bayern to grow here at one of the biggest clubs in the world. I’m very grateful to Granada for the great time we’ve had together and everything the club has made possible for me. I’ll never forget that. I also feel great support at FC Bayern now. I’m looking forward to what’s coming. We are aiming high."

Zaragoza has agreed to sign a five-year contract with the club in the summer, tying him to Bayern until 2029. He has scored six goals in 21 La Liga matches this season and coach Thomas Tuchel will hope he can transfer his good form in the Spanish league to the Bundesliga as he prepares to join the likes of Harry Kane, Leroy Sane and Kingsley Coman.

Zaragoza will hope to make his Bayern debut this weekend as they take on Borussia Monchengladbach. The Bavarian side are currently second in the table and two points behind leaders Bayer Leverkusen. However, Gladbach held Leverkusen to a 0-0 draw last week and will hope to upset the reigning champions on Saturday.
